Oceanview Room
Deer Run has one ocean-view room. It is available for guests traveling with companion animals (see our pet policy page). The room have a comfortable King-size bed (medium-firm mattresses), flat-screen television, Wi-Fi, private bathroom (stall shower), mini-fridge, iron/ironing board, beach towels, blow dryer, high-efficiency AC/heat, organic sheets, organic towels, cruelty-free toiletries, and individual deck w/seating. All living space and guest rooms are located on the second floor via stairs. Included with your stay is the use of our kayaks, bicycles, free on-site parking, use of our salt water spa, and daily baked goods with self serve coffee/tea/juice for breakfast, of which everything is suitable for vegans.

This place is super cool. My wife and i stayed here several years ago. I forgot to write a review. Owners were so nice. Food was good. Location is perfect. Close enough to key west for "big city" stuff. But far enough to enjoy a very florida keys experience. Key deer are the cutest. The young make a quiet meh noise. Biting nats will get ya in the morning and evening but thats island life! Quiet road to run and bike on. Water is undisturbed for snorkeling. Ospreys land on the trees on the property. Only a 10-15 minute drive to another island with a really nice beach. Big pine key has 3 pickleball courts as well, if you like to play. You should definitely rent a room here!

We loved this place. So quiet and relaxing! Only four rooms, no kids allowed. You can see many deers.

It's pure heaven. We could sit there all day,never move and be happy. We walked the beach and cleaned up any plastics that had washed in. We had a deserted road to powerwalk and found plenty of food locally. The owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet that care so much about the planet, the wildlife and all the people that they meet. So special.
